FRAGGRID Privacy Policy
Effective and last updated: 3 October 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information the game FRAGGRID (the “Game”)
and its online services handle, why, and what choices you have. The Game is developed and
published by Fedir Tsapana, an individual developer based in Ukraine (“I”, “me”,
“we”). If you have any question about this policy, write to
truefedex@gmail.com.
1. Summary
- You play anonymously. There are no accounts, no sign-in and no email or
phone number is asked for.
- The Game contains no advertising, does not use the advertising ID, and
includes no analytics or tracking SDK of our own.
- On Android the Game requests only three ordinary permissions: Internet access and network
state (for online play) and vibration (for controller and device feedback). It does not
access your location, contacts, camera, microphone or files.
- To make online play work, your device’s IP address is necessarily seen by
our servers and by the other devices you play with, and your nickname is
shown to other players. Details are below.
- We do not sell personal information and do not share it for advertising.
2. Information stored only on your device
Your settings (volumes, button bindings and similar), your nickname, and the maps you create
in the built-in map editor are saved on your device. They are not sent to us. Uninstalling the
Game or clearing its app data deletes them. One exception: if you host a match on a map you made,
that map is sent to the players who join it (see section 3).
3. Online play
3.1 The server list
The in-game list of online matches is provided by a directory service (the “master server”)
that we run on Cloudflare. It is used when a game server or a player hosting a match announces
the match, and when you browse the list.
- When you host a match, the directory stores: the public IP address and
port through which your device reached it, a coarse region at continent level (for example
“EU”) that Cloudflare derives from that IP address, the private local-network address of your device
(used only to let players on your own network connect to you; it is shown only to devices
that reach the directory from the same public IP address as you, such as your home
network),
the name of the match, the map, the game mode, the number of players, whether the match is
private, and a five-digit code for the match. For a match hosted by a player, the match name
is the one the host typed, or else is based on the host’s nickname (for example “ALEX’S
GAME”). For a public match this information, except the code, is shown to
anyone viewing the server list, and anyone joining will connect to that address. A
private match is not shown in the list at all: it is reached only by its
code, and whoever enters the code sees the same information about that one match.
- When you look up a match by its code and the code is wrong, the
directory stores the public IP address you reached it from and a count of wrong codes, to
limit how many codes can be guessed from one address. Each count covers at most an hour
and is deleted once that hour has passed, the next time the directory tidies up.
- A listing is deleted automatically within a few minutes after the host stops announcing
the match.
- When you join a match hosted by another player, your public IP address
and port are briefly passed through the directory to that host so the two devices can
establish a connection. This record is deleted as soon as it has been delivered to the host,
or within minutes if it is not.
- When you just browse the list, the directory’s database does not store anything about
you. Cloudflare’s request logs still apply (section 4).
3.2 Matches
- Game data travels directly between your device and the device or server hosting the
match. The host of a match, and the other players’ devices, can see your IP
address, as with any peer-hosted online game.
- Your nickname, your chosen character and your in-match statistics (such as kills and
score) are shown to everyone in the match.
- Communication between players is limited to a fixed set of preset quick-chat phrases.
There is no free-text chat and no voice chat.
- Game servers we operate keep short-lived technical logs (for example, how many players
are connected and the state of the match) to operate the service and to protect it from
abuse. They are not used to profile anyone.
Your nickname is visible to other people. Please do not use your real name or any
other personal information as your nickname.
4. Service providers
- Cloudflare, Inc. hosts the directory service and this website. Like any
web host, Cloudflare processes request data such as IP addresses and keeps request logs for a
limited time to deliver and secure the service. See
Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy.
- Google Play distributes the Game and processes payments. Google provides
developers with aggregated statistics about installs and with crash and performance reports
(Android vitals) from users who have allowed their devices to share diagnostics with Google.
Google’s handling of your data is described in the
Google Privacy Policy.
- RevenueCat, Inc. records and verifies the in-app purchase (section 5). See the
RevenueCat Privacy Policy.
- The virtual servers our dedicated game servers run on are rented from hosting providers,
who process network traffic on our behalf.
5. Purchases
The Game is free to play, online included. It offers one optional, one-time in-app purchase that
unlocks every character after the first; characters are cosmetic and change nothing else in the
Game. Payments are processed entirely by Google Play; we never see or store your card or payment
details. To confirm the purchase, and to recognise it again after a reinstall or on another device
signed in to the same Google account, the Game uses RevenueCat’s software. RevenueCat receives your
purchase history for the Game, an anonymous app user ID generated on your device (not linked to
your name, email or in-game nickname), and your device’s locale and currency code. This data is
encrypted in transit and is used only to provide the purchase. The Game does not read your device’s
advertising ID. If the way purchases work ever requires any additional data, this policy will be
updated before that version of the Game is released.
6. Why we process information (legal bases)
- To provide the Game’s online features you ask for: listing, finding and joining matches,
and purchases (performance of a contract).
- To keep the service running, secure and free from abuse (legitimate interests).
- To comply with legal obligations, for example tax and accounting rules for purchases.
7. How long information is kept
- Server list entries and connection records: minutes (section 3.1).
- Game server and hosting logs: only as long as needed to operate and secure the service,
after which they are deleted or overwritten.
- Purchase records held by Google Play and RevenueCat: as described in their policies and as
required by law.
- Data on your device: until you delete it or uninstall the Game.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example in the EU/EEA or UK under the GDPR, or in California
under the CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal information about
you, to object to or restrict its processing, and to lodge a complaint with a data protection
authority. Because the Game has no accounts and keeps online data only for minutes, we usually
hold nothing that can be linked to you. For purchase data, we can delete your RevenueCat
customer record on request. To make a request, email
truefedex@gmail.com.
9. Children
The Game is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal
information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information
through the Game, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Security and international transfers
Connections to the directory service use HTTPS. Cloudflare and the other providers listed
above may process data in countries other than your own, including the United States, under
their own safeguards for international transfers.
11. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page with a new
“last updated” date. Significant changes will also be noted in the Game’s store listing
release notes.
